Things I Have Learned This Week

April 2nd, 2007 · 5 Comments

I meant to get this up on the weekend, but Wordpress was acting all sketchy.

1. That if you use the word “testicles” (repeatedly) in a post, your readership will triple. Plan on seeing many posts including the word testicles here in the future. Oh, and just for good measure - Testicles. Testicles. Testicles.

2. That The Girl will refuse a new pair of shoes….Disney Princess shoes…that freakin’ light up even….to prance around in a pair of clunky platform sandals (from Grandma) that she knows I hate. She refused new shoes?!? To make a stubborn point with me?!? Not looking forward to the teenage years at all.

3. That if you decide to rearrange all of the furniture in the family room…at midnight…for TWO HOURS….only to end up with it all back in the exact same place that it started…and upon moving everything back into place, your husband simply smiles and says, “Looks good.” …. you know you have found a keeper.

4. Testicles.

5. That I don’t have a number five.

    Testicles.
And my two and a half year old already does what The Girl just did to you.
Lately, I am FREAKING SCARED SH!TLESS of her teenage years.
    Testicles.

(just trying to help you out….)

Sooooooooooooo funny! I have only raised testicles in my lifetime, so have lots of those stories, and boy’s names for such often shared at the dinner table. Hence, food on walls and milk coming out nostrils.

Just don’t look at the search criteria used to find you…. You will want to shower with steel wool…

Those are some great life lessons you should never forget!

Obviously a lot of octopus enthusiasts spell “tentacles” wrong when they go searching on Google, hmm? :)
