I am so sorry. That is a very touching tribute to him. Without knowing him, it made me well up.
Take good care of yourself and your kiddos.

This is a little personal, and if you don’t feel it’s appropriate to post, I will certainly take no offense…
As I read Matt’s interview with Angel, I thought about what a lucky boy he is to have you. Angel’s story, in and of itself, is incredibly inspiring, But, it was also very touching to me that Matt was talking to a woman with somewhat similar learning issues who felt like she had to leave home at a young age. It struck me as I looked at his blog, a testament to all you are doing to help him fight his battles and connect with the world, that he is really a very lucky child, even in spite of all his struggles.
I used to work in a labor and delivery unit, and as I talked with a mom whose baby had special needs, I told her, “You know, God picked you to be this baby’s mom. He picked you because he knew that you would be the best mom for this baby.” I thought about that as I read Matt’s interview with Angel–God picked you to be his mom. And you’re doing such an incredible job.
