So I made it through the weekend. About time, huh, since it’s, like, Wednesday already. We went on Sunday to do the sprinkling ash dispersement. I got my sorry behind on the boat and didn’t even puke. Not even once. Oh yeah, did I mention I’m not so much a liker of anything boat or water-related? Right now you are probably thinking, “Good grief, what does she like?” (fluffy bunnies and long walks on the beach).
The whole experience was not bad at all…especially considering that it was basically the legal equivalent of dumping a body. (Sorry, Mom. Maybe you should stick to your grandson’s blog today.) The boat was nice. The ocean was beautiful, although sloshy. Plus, in the middle of everything, we saw these guys…..

We also saw a pot floating in the middle of the ocean, all by its lonesome. Weird. The Husband chuckled, and mumbled that he hoped it wasn’t from the last ash dispersement run.
So it is done. And it was..um…nice….for lack of a better fitting adjective.
There I am. On the boat. Not puking. Which may be due to the Dramamine I took…or just my badassness. Whichever. The Dramamine did leave me stumbling around like a drunken hobo for the rest of the day, so that was fun. (Are there still even hobos anymore? Wikipedia? Anyone?)

Share your feelings Mel. You did a lot of talk about nothing - entertaining mind you but you didn’t share yourself. How did you really do with everthing? Love you and really care. Put it down so we can walk with you through it.

Nope . You look nothing like Captain Morgan, but I’ll bet you wanted some of his juice. Didn’t you? Though I suppose that wouldn’t be wise to mix that and the Dramamine.
I’m glad you were able to find see something positive in a day that you feared might be unbearable.
