Every freaking’ night Every once in awhile, The Girl will wake up and come crawling into our bed at night. Last night was no exception. At about 2:30, we heard her door open and her bare feet padding down the hall. Our bedroom door was hurled open, bouncing of the springy door stop…..SPROING! The Girl staggered to The Husband’s side of the bed and hauled herself up, clamoring sleepily over him, a blob of pointy elbows and bony knees. She flopped like a sack of potatoes face first into the pillow, pulling her legs up under her, tiny bottom in the air. It was quiet for a moment, and then…pfffffft……pffffffffffttttttttt….pffft……..pffffffffffttttttttttttt.
Um….no, she did not just come in here, hog my pillow, and then unleash all sorts of farting in my bed. Gah.
The Husband and I immediately burst into laughter, waking her enough to cause her to giggle and mumble, “Oh, sorry.”
Sigh. Good thing it wasn’t Business Time.

One other thing….Kelleypea, from Kellementology, graciously provided me with a shiny new button to add to my sidebar. It’s pretty, and of course, flattering. I have no idea why she keeps coming around here when I post stuff like this, but she does, and I am glad.
