So…The Girl is now a yellow belt. Woo hoo! As you saw in the video, she broke her board on her first try. She was one of only 3 to break her board with only one kick (Not that I was counting or anything. Ahem.)
Aside from a bright (and very stiff) new yellow belt, she also got a certificate, and much to her delight….a trophy. She was pretty thrilled with the trophy, and has spent a great deal of time today carrying it around and petting it. Yes, petting it. She carried into my room to use the computer for awhile, and later this evening, I saw this….
Why yes, that is Princess Jasmine’s hair on the shiny, little kicking man on her trophy. That pretty much sums up The Girl. She can kick your ass and style your hair.

Huh! Mind didn’t get an award for completing their class - I must check out classes that give out awards for participation I suppose.

The Girl sounds awesome! So hilarious–I *love* that combo. In one of my favorite pictures of my daughter she’s wearing cleats and a big ol’ tutu and kicking the heck out of the soccer ball. Yeah!

Won’t tell Too about the trophy though. All they get is their belt (or a piece of tape on the current belt) and a certificate printed out on plain paper!
