Freak Parade

So today it has been exactly one year since my step-father, better known as Papaw, passed away. To celebrate his first “birthday” in heaven, The Boy and The Girl wrote a little about what they think heaven is like. Who knows…they may be right. And if reading this doesn’t make you smile, I question whether or not you are human. You are probably a robot. But perhaps you are a useful robot who cooks and cleans like, Rosie, from The Jetsons. In that case, you are welcome here. Bring your vacuuming metal butt right on in.

What Heaven is Like

In heaven, there is a big golden gate with designs all over it. When you fly over it there are lots of fluffy kitty clouds that are funny. Heaven has sparkles in the sky. Sunsets are pinkish orange. People fly kites. There are heavenly computers with fun games. Heaven has heavenly cakes. People jump rope on the golden streets. Angels play beach ball in the sky. Heaven has a yellow sun in the silver skies. I can’t wait to get to heaven because it is happy there.

What Heaven is Like

I think heaven is always sunny. There are lots Nascar races. It is beautiful. When you first walk up to heaven, there is a big silver gate. There are lots of airports and airplanes for when you don’t want to use your own wings. There are some good tacos. You can have any theme park and/or carnival ride of your choice in your backyard. Heaven has beautiful lightning and thunder storms. There are beautiful beachside resorts and everyone get reservations for free. Everyone gets free passes to heaven’s Disneyland resort. Heaven has beautiful sunrises every morning at 6:00. Heaven has the best mini-golf courses and golf carts in the universe. People play a lot of games in the streets all day without worrying about cars. People drive their vintage hotrods and dragsters all day through the streets of gold. Heaven has heavenly donuts.

Heaven has no pollutants. Heaven doesn’t have any money because everything is free. Heaven has nothing deadly or dangerous. Heaven does not have solicitors. There are no terrorists. In heaven there is no sadness. The only feeling heaven has is happiness.

I can’t wait to get to heaven because I’ll get to see distant universes in my flight up to heaven and I will get to see God and all of the other people that died.

Dude. No solicitors in heaven. Right on. I take issue with the fact that neither one of them mentioned chocolate in heaven. It is simply not possible to have heaven with no chocolate….not even with heavenly cakes and donuts. So what do you think heaven is like?
