All Quiet on the Western Front

I told myself I was going to get back to writing here regularly. Now it has been a week since I last wrote, and I can’t think of a single thing I want to write about. Which is kind of funny, because in person, I never shut up. I do enjoy hearing myself talk, but apparently that same feeling doesn’t apply to writing.

I suppose I could write about the minutiae of my life, but if even I don’t want to hear about that, I’m pretty certain that complete strangers don’t. I guess I should look at the fact that I have nothing I need to write about….nothing to get off my chest….as a good thing. The Boy is not in any sort of upheaval at the moment. The Girl is not sick for a change. We’re taking a couple of weeks off from homeschooling for the summer. The drama level is relatively low…this week anyway. Don’t misunderstand….on any normal given day, my kids provide more than their fair share of stress, with The Boy’s Asperger’s and anxiety, and The Girl being a ball of disease and her anxiety…and our calm is most certainly not the same as what most people consider calm, but I’ll take it when I can get it. I’m sure very shortly one (or both) of my kids will do something to cause the gray hairs to sprout form my head and my blood pressure to skyrocket….but, hey, on the upside, at least I’ll have something to write about.

For now, just trying to enjoy summer….

Hey, even when you have nothing to say (as it were) it’s nice to hear from you … and the pictures are adorable. I guess even if you’re not on the school schedule, it seems a good time of year to take a break.

    Have a good summer.

Images are fantastic. I think someone is rockin’ a new lens–let me know who you found to buy your kidney and if they need another one. :)
    A couple facts:
You are a bit of a talker (Hello, kettle?? This is the pot calling…..)
Your quiet is a little different than others quiet, but that’s cool.
    You take amazing photos
We like hearing from you even when you don’t have anything to say.
    :)

I love your tag- I write crap. Hilarious. Seriously, though, you don’t. I truly enjoy reading your posts. I understand how you feel though. I really really do. As usual, I adore the photos.
